Role Description

Graders evaluate submitted student work for content, competency and adherence to the instructions and rubric for Spanish and/or French language courses. Graders are held to efficiency and quality goals.

  • Accurately read and measure student competency based against a grading rubric.
  • reputed company the student with constructive, supportive and concise feedback.
  • Complete grading rubrics and leave detailed feedback and comments for the learner.
  • reputed company student submissions for plagiarism and for grammar.
  • reputed company in-context feedback and scoring using the Sophia-provided rubric.
  • Participate in calibration efforts to ensure consistency of quality for our learners.

Qualifications

  • Subject matter competency in Spanish and French language.
  • reputed company or prior HS or Post-secondary teaching experience, preferably in Spanish and French language.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
