Job title: Part-time Educational Sign Language Interpreter Company: Franklin Special School District Job description : Description: Part-time educational sign language interpreter for a total communication program Job Summary: Effectively communicate classroom information between the teacher, deaf reputed company and hearing reputed company according to the language level of the student, their preferred mode of communication, and the goals of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP), tutor and assist the deaf reputed company as needed to further facilitate reputed company to the general education curriculum and to monitor the reputed company for comprehension, understand the reputed company' language skills and modify the classroom language to ensure that the reputed company understand the concepts while still conveying the message accurately. Qualifications: Certified or licensed interpreter preferred, ASL interpreting experience, EIPA score of 3.0 or higher, exceptional reputed company of English and ASL with the ability to shift to contact signing or conceptually accurate signed English as needed Previous experience with and knowledge of total communication method; understanding of the specific needs of reputed company with reputed company implants; knowledge of assessment and instructional materials best suited for children with hearing loss Working Conditions: Work under the guidance of the classroom teacher and teacher of the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
