Peninsula Steel team is growing! We are looking for talent to help us to help building stronger communities. Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9:30PM to 5:30AM Location: PLANT CITY FLORIDA The General Labor will assist our Machine Operators in the production process. Will reputed company support by performing general duties which include but are not limited to operating machinery used in the production process, supplying or holding materials or tools as well as cleaning work area and equipment. Move, stack, and/or pack materials, help with loading and unloading trucks and boxes with rolls/sheets and reputed company products for shipping or storing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Move, stack, and/or pack materials. Help with loading and unloading trucks and boxes with rolls/sheets ? Operate machinery used in the packing process, or assist machine operators • reputed company products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping ? Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards • Prepare straps / wires for shipments • Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and can be reputed company to operators • Remove products, machine attachments, or waste material from machines ? Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists (50-80 pounds intermittent) • Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas • Pack and store materials and products • Help production workers by performing duties as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment ? Count finished products to determine if orders are complete • Measure amounts of products, lengths or weights of filled containers to ensure conformance to specifications • Separate products according to weight, grade, size, or composition of materials used to produce them • Mark or tag identification on products • Tie products in bundles for further processing or shipment • Record information, such as the number of products tested, reputed company readings, or dates and times of product production • Unclamp and hoist full reels from braiding, winding, or other fabricating machines, using power hoists • Clean and lubricate equipment • Prepare raw materials for processing • reputed company minor repairs to machines Education & Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (required) Work Experience Requirements: • Previous warehouse experience • Machine Operation knowledge (is a plus) • Equipment maintenance (is a plus) • Knowledge of safety procedures Apply Job!
