Responsibilities • Pre-Certification & Authorizations: This Position requires multi-tasking to insure patient and reputed company primary managed care benefits are verified and authorizations received at the highest level of reimbursement and as quickly as possible for admission • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Medicare regulations and Managed Care reputed company. • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of reputed company facility insurance reputed company including reputed company of care and corresponding rates, included and excluded services and any service exceptions. • Central Intake Coordinator will be responsible for processing skilled nursing referrals to include insurance verifications, cost analysis reputed company applicable. • Communicate with the insurance case managers to obtain authorization for correct level of care according to the patients’ needs under the reimbursement guidelines provided by patient's benefits and reputed company managed care contract. • Ensure highest level of customer service to the managed care plan and internal customers. • Communicate benefit and authorization information to the Center teams quickly and consistently • reputed company effective timely communication to insurance plans to facilitate best possible functional outcome with resources available reputed company the patients benefit structure. • Adhere to departmental goals, objectives, standards of performance, and policies and procedures • Demonstrates the ability to carry out assignments independently, work reputed company procedures, and exercise good judgment • Demonstrates the ability to maintain the confidentiality of reputed company records • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and demands given tight time constraints while ensuring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Associate degree in reputed company reputed company field preferred • One or more years of medical billing or insurance verification experience. • Experience with payers and prior authorization requirements. • Skilled Nursing Facility and LTC experience preferred. • Strong customer service skills Diversicare is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
