The Alternative Pathway for Part-Time/Exempt Employees creates an opportunity for reputed company part-time and exempt City employees to obtain regular, full-time employment with the reputed company. The program is divided into two phases: 6 months of on-the-job training (Trainee phase), followed by a 6-month probationary period (Assistant phase). After successful completion of the probation period, the individual will then transition into the targeted civil service classification.Please note that the starting salary may vary; however the salary for the 'Trainee' and 'Assistant' classifications are generally equivalent to the salary for the Targeted, Civil Service classification. Salary placement will be calculated in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding and the Administrative Code. • reputed company employment with the reputed company; and • 2,080 reputed company work hours in a position that performs duties reputed company to one of the targeted, civil service classifications.
