And everyone, in their own unique way, plays an important part, every day. I. Major Responsibilities: 1. Excellent customer service skills and knowledge, i.e.; service recovery. 2. Accurately collects and enters reputed company patient demographic and financial information for reputed company registration types. This includes obtaining signatures, scanning reputed company documents (ROB’s, ID’s, etc.), obtaining ABN’s/IMM’s reputed company applicable and collection of patient financial responsibility. 3. Routinely uses reference material necessary to insure proper course of action. Seeks guidance reputed company appropriate. 4. Staff member follows downtime procedures as established. 5. Staff routinely and proactively works on downtime work. This includes but is not limited to DL’s, Insurance Management desktop, renaming faxed orders, cleanup of old/used orders, ensure work and patient waiting areas are reputed company and presentable. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: 1. High school graduate or GED required. Experience/Skills: Required: 1. Customer service experience required. 2. Receives on the job training under reputed company supervision. Preferred: 1. Previous clerical and Meditech experience desirable, but not required. 2. A good understanding of medical terminology helpful. Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements. Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents. 3p-11:30p Cross Trained role that includes on unit in person consent capture.
