The role: This role tackles the entire software development lifecycle, from analyzing user needs to designing, coding, testing, and documenting software solutions. The individual troubleshoots existing software, implements new features, and ensures efficient integration with other systems. They may also reputed company software development teams and contribute to improving development processes and documentation. This role is approved for at least one day of TELEWORK per week. What you'll need: - BS + twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in similar roles; experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for degrees. Experience with: - Demonstrated prowess with C/C++ programming is absolutely necessary - Two (2) years experience for developing applications using specified programming language per the development requirements. - Two (2) years of development for reputed company or UNIX applications using general purpose languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, Java, and Python) - Two (2) years of experience with DevOps building and deploying technologies (e.g., Artifactory, Dockery, Terraform, Ansible, Packer). - One (1) year experience with reputed company Integration / reputed company Development (CI/CD) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins and Bamboo), and building automated CI/CD pipelines. Clearance requirement: TS/SCI w/FS Poly REQUIRED for consideration. No CCAs, sponsorships or upgrades. Location/telework: Onsite work is located in Annapolis reputed company, MD (NBP) with one day per week of telework (approved!). For reputed company candidates, salaries can top 250k with an extra week of PTO, new computer, 10% contribution to 401k provided (no matching necessary), and fully-paid health insurance.
