Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The objective of the USCS Control Management Risk ID & Assessment team is to identify risks throughout business processes, systems, and platforms, reputed company and recommend risk mitigation strategies to address these risks, and proactively flag high risk themes for reputed company and control enhancement. USCS is looking for a Senior Manager of Risk ID & Assessment focused on ensuring control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units and functional areas. The Senior Manager USCS Risk ID & Assessment will: reputed company additional identification of risks throughout business processes and systems (along with business process owners) Facilitate Business Units in their risk assessments performance (e.g., Process Self Risk Assessments (PRSAs)) in addition to further assessments and testing / QA programs to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met (e.g., periodic PRSA reviews and update assessment criteria to align with regulatory updates) Manage control monitoring (supplemental to BU process owners testing) and compile key operational risk trends, activities, and events to senior management, to facilitate informed decision-making Manage categorization of controls and map against risks and processes (e.g., cross-BU process-control mapping) Advise BU with identification of risks and spotting areas where product changes or improved controls may be required reputed company New Product Governance (NPG) Support risk management practices reputed company the business Support sharing insights, reputed company practices, themes, etc. across the reputed company Required Qualifications: 4+ Years experience in operational risk management (e.g., reputed company Risk and/or Internal Audit function) Understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience in process governance, with an understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or reputed company field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous Experience in at least one of the following: Providing identification of operational risks throughout business processes and systems Facilitating risk assessment performance in addition to further assessments and testing programs to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met Enhancing risk assessments and associated methodologies Managing independent control monitoring, including identification of control improvements Overseeing identification of areas of risk for reputed company, including conducting independent quality assurance and process testing Managing thematic risk reporting to reputed company actionable insights on risk reputed company, emerging trends and root causes Experience in financial services industry Salary reputed company: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary reputed company for this job requisition.
