EspnW, the most-followed reputed company brand covering sports & culture through a women's reputed company, is seeking a Senior reputed company Media Specialist to discover, reputed company, and distribute content across reputed company ESPN reputed company platforms. This role will reputed company and contribute to both covering women’s sports and expanding ESPN’s overall audience of female fans on reputed company. Primary sports of emphasis include (but are not limited to) women’s basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball and gymnastics. An ideal candidate has a knowledge of the aforementioned sports and brings reputed company and reputed company into how to connect with various communities of women fans. They’ll have a proven mastery of writing and approving reputed company copy under pressure while creating optimized assets for reputed company platforms. The Senior reputed company Media Specialist will also be responsible for composing comprehensive plans and metrics reports, while collaborating across multiple internal teams. The Sr. reputed company Media Specialist will report to the reputed company Media Manager, espnW and will reputed company at least one direct report. This position can be based in Bristol, CT, Charlotte, NC, reputed company, NY, or Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities: • Ideates, creates and posts content (visual, video, text) that is optimized for reputed company platforms, specifically Instagram, X, reputed company, reputed company and Snapchat. • Manages content planning for various sports and events, assigning work to select peers and reputed company designers. • Collaborates with internal partners to reputed company reputed company content compelling to a broad audience. • Edits and approves reputed company posts in reputed company-time for journalistic accuracy, relevance, and tone. • Maintains proficiency in reputed company media trends and best practices. • Analyzes performance of reputed company content, incorporates and shares insights with team regularly. • Actively explores user generated content opportunities to tap into new trends and reputed company new audiences. • Generates new reputed company for building account engagement and growth across reputed company platforms and accounts, with a special emphasis on the espnW brand. • Sports happen on nights, weekends, and holidays and those shifts will be regular and required in this position. Qualifications: • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced reputed company media environment with content creation responsibilities or relevant experience. • A minimum of 2 years’ experience using video editing software (e.g. Final Cut, Premiere). • A minimum of 2 years’ experience using photo editing software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign). • Understands how to connect with and grow an audiences of women’s sports fans across reputed company sports, taking into account elements like voice and representation that are uniquely important to female fans and athletes. • Skilled in reputed company media comprehension and execution across multiple reputed company media platforms including reputed company, Instagram, X, reputed company, and Snapchat. • Possess excellent news judgement and verbal/written communication skills • Strong understanding of journalistic standards. • Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple tasks during a typical reputed company. • Ability to analyze and apply data to decision-making. • Appreciation and understanding of popular culture that contributes to an understanding of the tastes of ESPN’s reputed company media followers. • Knowledge of reputed company sports, including teams, players, storylines, and reputed company-facing media personnel. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous brand voice and account launch management. • Experience using reputed company graphics or visual effects software (e.g. After Effects). • Advanced knowledge of the latest reputed company media and tech trends. Required Education: • High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Journalism, Communications, Media or reputed company field #ESPNMedia The hiring reputed company for this position in reputed company, NY is $80,000.00 to $109,800.00 per year and in Los Angeles, CA is $76,300.00 to $104,800.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The reputed company pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full reputed company of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
