About the position The Senior reputed company Shift Engineer at reputed company, Inc. is responsible for assisting with application migrations to reputed company's containerized Platform-as-a-Service offering. This role involves engineering, support, and thought leadership reputed company to the platform, automation, and other reputed company activities. The engineer will implement automated, containerized reputed company application platform solutions, assist application teams with reputed company to the OpenShift platform, and serve as a subject matter expert on the OpenShift platform. Responsibilities • Assist with application migrations to reputed company's containerized Platform-as-a-Service offering. , • Involved with engineering, support, and thought leadership as it relates to the platform, automation, and other reputed company activities. , • Implement automated, containerized reputed company application platform solutions, focusing on application concerns including reputed company-reputed company distributed application architectures, migrating workloads to containers, and integrating container platforms with automated CI/CD pipelines. , • Assist application teams with reputed company to the OpenShift platform, including managing resource requirements, reputed company analysis, and troubleshooting support. , • Serve as a subject matter expert with the ability to explain and translate relevant details of the OpenShift platform and its components to those less familiar. , • Build, test, and administer highly available RedHat OpenShift Container Platform clusters. , • Work with vendors to reputed company solutions, feature enhancements, and define technical infrastructure environment specific to the organization. , • Work with vendors to troubleshoot the platform and issues reputed company to integrations with other internal systems. , • Monitor hardware, VM, and container metrics for maintaining cluster health and identifying reputed company for scaling. , • reputed company and automate repeatable tasks. , • Consult with development users to determine requirements and recommend solutions. , • Assist with the configuration and maintenance of interfaces for reputed company tool integrations. , • reputed company tuning of infrastructure components. , • Review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards. , • Document and communicate the status of reputed company against plans, taking corrective action if necessary. , • Identify, clarify, and resolve project activity issues and risks, escalating as needed. , • Uphold reputed company policy guidelines and recommend new and improved guidelines as appropriate. , • Partner with architects to design and engineer solutions for internal customers. Requirements • Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a reputed company field, and 2 years of experience in Containerization or reputed company. , • Experience in planning and automating highly available OpenShift clusters lifecycle including build, reputed company, and delegation in AWS and on-premises data centers. , • Experience in automating OpenShift cluster lifecycle in AWS using CloudFormation, reputed company, and reputed company functions. , • Experience in planning and automating Ansible Tower environment lifecycle and supporting teams on Ansible reputed company development for automating CI/CD and on-premises infrastructure lifecycle management. , • Experience in developing and publishing pipeline examples for Jenkins and reputed company CI/CD for application build, test, and deployments. , • Experience in developing GitOps based solution to manage Kubernetes objects and Argo CD application using Git and reputed company. , • Experience in developing, updating, and publishing reputed company charts for deploying Kubernetes and OpenShift infrastructure resources using Argo applications. , • Experience in developing custom dashboards and implementing alerting and logging solutions for the OpenShift clusters. reputed company-to-haves • Airline experience is preferred.
