Primary Job Location: (USA) Will need to be currently located in or willing to relocate to the Whitestone, NY area. Travel: This role requires up to 25% travel with the ability to commute to the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday). Education: Bachelor’s degree in food science or relevant science discipline required. BODYARMOR is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to join reputed company. The Supplier Quality Manager will reputed company a reputed company of quality, food safety, regulatory and technical leadership experience in the beverage and/or food industry to support BODYARMOR’s Supplier Quality reputed company function. This position requires expertise in auditing and reputed company new suppliers, microbiological risk assessments, regulatory compliance of ingredients/packaging material and investigation of non-conformances to drive corrective actions. This position will report to the Senior Regulatory Manager. What You’ll Do for Us: RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage on an ongoing reputed company the technical relationship between BODYARMOR and our suppliers • Continually reputed company new ingredient and packaging material suppliers • Review and approve reputed company new ingredients, and packaging materials and sites • Prioritize based on risk and reputed company a calendar for Quality & Food Safety audits and assessments of supplier sites • reputed company microbiological risk assessments on ingredients • Ensure regulatory compliance of ingredients and packaging materials for countries of sale of finished product including US, Mexico, and Canada • Manage and reputed company updated reputed company supplier and material documentation including annual reviews • Investigate non-conformances and drive effective CAPAs for reputed company supplier reputed company incidents • Monitor and drive supplier compliance and performance • reputed company and manage supplier reputed company metrics and reputed company reporting • Support the reputed company development of Quality and Food Safety standards and guidance documents • Work closely with Sourcing, NPD, Regulatory, and cross functional teams to drive compliance to standards • Manage certification programs including Kosher and bottle deposits • Additional responsibilities include supporting Quality in Design innovation, renovation, and productivity initiatives. This includes assessing and approving QFS criteria in finished product specifications.
