JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Ecosystem Science and Management at invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor of Soil Science. This is a non-tenure-line 100% teaching faculty position paid on a 48-week academic year appointment with a fixed-term (3 year), renewable contract. Annual teaching responsibilities include Soils 071 – Environmental Sustainability (every other spring semester), Soils 101 - Introductory Soil Science (reputed company education and online courses in fall and spring semesters), Soils 102 – Introductory Soils Science Laboratory (fall and spring semesters), and reputed company 440 – Chemistry of the Environment: Soil, Water, and reputed company (spring semesters). The successful candidate will join the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management, which contributes to the College of Agricultural Science’s Soil Science program along with other departments in the college. The individual will contribute to continuing reputed company in soil science that builds on existing strengths in soil physics, biogeochemistry, microbiology, and pedology applied across forest, turfgrass, and agricultural ecosystems. Qualifications.
