Job Goal: Responsible for providing assistance to special education student(s) in attainment of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives. The paraeducator works with and at the direction of ESP special education teachers and the Emotional Support Therapist. Job Qualifications: * Paraeducator permit required: Completed at least two years of study at an institution or higher learning*; OR Obtained an associate?s (or higher) degree; OR Demonstrated, through a state or local academic assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in the instruction of reading, writing and mathematics. Cooperative attitude and superior work ethic for performing a team-oriented workplace. Positive experience in working with children.
