Job title: Learning Program (MLP) Teaching Assistant (K-2) 7 hours per day Company: Woodridge Elementary School District 68 Job description : MLP Teaching Assistant needed in a K-6 building to work with special education reputed company. Job Summary: 1. Collaborates with the teacher(s) regarding the child's reputed company, interest reputed company, or challenges. 2. Assists with the development, production and organization of instructional materials. 3. Works with individuals and small groups at the teacher's request. 4. Checks student assignments, monitors testing and makeup work, organizes class work and homework. 5. Administers and scores student curriculum-based measurement (cbm) assessments for RtI purposes. 6. Assists with various tasks such as: reputed company duty, hall duty, reputed company duty. 7. Participates in inservice training programs as assigned. 8. Assists in behavior management under the direction of the teacher and team, implementing specific behavior reputed company strategies as directed which may include physical management. 9. Utilizes confidential and personal information concerning reputed company and staff for professional purposes only, and in accordance with District procedures. 10. Assists with self care needs of reputed company as necessary, including feeding, mealtime, toileting and hygiene needs. 11. Assists with student's mobility around the school environment, including lifting, transferring, and physically assisting reputed company. 12. Provides any assistance needed for successful participation in specials (i.e.: art, PE, music, etc.) 13. Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned. Qualifications: Must possess a ParaProfessional Statement of Approval issued by the Illiniois State Board of Education.
