This 9-month tenure track or clinical teaching position (multi-year renewable) reports to the Dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences, and includes competitive salary and benefits. Preferred qualifications include an earned Ph.D. in Biological Sciences for a tenure-track position; ABD or Master's degree (with 18 graduate hours in a biological field) will be considered for a clinical teaching position. Primary teaching responsibilities will include microbiology for biology, health science, and nursing majors; introductory biology courses and laboratories in cell and/or organismal biology; and additional opportunities for courses in the candidate's area of expertise. The primary responsibilities of the position include face-to-face teaching assignments at the undergraduate level. There may be opportunities for online (credentialing preferred) and hybrid teaching.
