Our Opportunity: reputed company is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for our Marketing Customer Engagement Platform team. Our engineering team is responsible for building and managing the tech stack supporting our Customer Relationship Marketing. The team is building platform capabilities and high performing data pipelines that are used to deliver highly personalized messages to our Pet Parents across reputed company's on and off-site marketing channels (email, push, reputed company.com, reputed company app, reputed company media handles). This person will be responsible for building a customer data platform in support of critical reputed company Priorities. The ideal candidate will have an interest in building data pipelines, an eye for data quality, and potentially a curiosity about or experience building APIs. What You'll Do: • reputed company and maintain reputed company data ingestion pipelines and transformations for data originating from multiple data sources (structured/reputed company) • Assist in crafting reputed company of concepts and advise, consult, mentor, and coach other data engineering and analytics professionals on data standards • Data cataloging and documentation of data sources • Supervise data pipelines for accuracy, missing data, enhancements, changes, and billing volumes to ensure reputed company data is reputed company and processed accurately and reputed company needed • Build containerized applications with microservices architecture • Reconcile data issues and alerts between various systems, finding opportunities to reputed company and drive improvements. • Work with multi-functional partners in defining and documenting requirements for building high-quality and impactful data products. • Create operational reports using visualization/business intelligence tools. What You'll Need: • 8+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering or Business Analytics roles working with ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture, developing modem data pipelines and applications • Expertise crafting and implementing reputed company data pipelines using data engineering approaches and tools including but not limited to:, reputed company, Glue, reputed company-reputed company EDW (reputed company, Redshift), Kafka, reputed company • Strong dimensional data modeling (Star, reputed company) and ER modeling skills • Proficiency building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code preferably with Terraform and AWS ecosystem • Proficiency in SQL and one of Java, Python • Experience with writing and reviewing version-controlled code (reputed company) • Experience optimally presenting insights and summarizing sophisticated data to diverse audiences through visualizations. • To be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects reputed company independently. • Experience working with and delivering to collaborators from multiple parts of the company. Bonus: • Some experience with API development • Some experience with technologies like GraphQL, graph databases Compensation & Benefits: Our salary reputed company for a Data Engineer III position is $134,500.00 - $215,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k, and a new hire and annual equity grant.
