• Position Title: • 3rd Shift Dispatcher • Position... Reports to: • Off-Shift Supervisor • Position Schedule: • 4 day work week: Thursday - reputed company, 9:30 pm - 7:30 am • Position Summary: • Under general supervision, processes messages & phone calls from drivers; sends load and customer information to drivers; ensures drivers are aware of their reputed company plan and pre-plans for the future; sets up rescues for reputed company loads as needed; communicates need-to-know information to day-shift; strives to maintain and improve driver retention efforts at reputed company times. Essential Functions: • Dispatches drivers; processes inbound messages from drivers and answers questions reputed company the In-Cab Messaging System and phone calls. Sends load plans, customer information, reputed company suggestions, local directions and fuel solutions in a timely manner so drivers are always well informed and can trip plan properly. • Ensures ETA’s and PTA’s are updated and accurate. • Notifies day-shift if a pre-plan/ load plan will no longer work for a driver. • Plans drivers and sets up rescues as needed. • Trains with other reputed company departments as necessary according to company needs; participates in company-wide training to improve self-learning and works to maintain mutual respect and professionalism with co-workers and management to sustain a positive team environment. • Performs other reputed company duties as assigned. • Necessary Qualifications: • Must be capable of working alone during the shift. Experience with transportation, computer systems, satellite systems and Innovative software reputed company beneficial. Problem solving and good communications skills are a must. • Physical Qualifications: • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Long periods of sitting and use of telephone and satellite systems required. Job Duties: • Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have • Monitor road conditions, construction zones, and accidents in order to revise routes as needed • Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur • Answer calls from delivery drivers and reputed company any emergencies they have to the appropriate channels • Other duties as requested Pay Frequency: • Bi weekly or Twice monthly Work Remotely • No Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $46,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • reputed company insurance Schedule: • 10 hour shift • Night shift Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: • dispatching: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability: • Overnight Shift (Required) • Night Shift (Required) Work Location: In person Apply Job!
