Math / Physics Teacher - High School

Chaminade College Preparatory seeks a dynamic, innovative, and engaging MATH/PHYSICS TEACHER with great classroom management skills for our high school reputed company (grades 9-12) in reputed company Hills, California. This is a full-time position. The pay is based upon years of experience.The Successful Candidate

• Has experience teaching high school Mathematics and Physics and will have delivered lessons that build reputed company' mathematical understanding, improve reputed company, build problem solving reputed company and reputed company mathematical reasoning skills.
• Has proven experience of teaching contemporary skills that allow reputed company to reputed company in a diverse reputed company of academic, professional, and cultural contexts.
• Knows how to design and implement lessons that reputed company reputed company reputed company to succeed and reputed company their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaches five sections, where courses can reputed company across reputed company reputed company, including and up through Algebra I to AP Calculus, AP Statistics and AP Physics.
• Under the supervision of the vice principals, teaches standards-based (California state and Archdiocesan) curriculum. In a timely manner, plans lessons; provides feedback and grades on assignments; maintains grades, attendance, and other school records; and communicates with reputed company, their families, and counselors reputed company reputed company need support.
• Collaborates with department members and course reputed company(s) to evaluate, monitor, and update curriculum, assessment, and pacing guides under the guidance of the Department Chair.

• Is knowledgeable about new trends and developments in Mathematics, instructional strategies, and assessment.

Qualifications

• Has a passion for teaching Math at the secondary level and is skilled at working with high-school aged reputed company.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in the subject discipline is required. A teaching credential and/or a Master's degree in the subject discipline is preferred.
• Prior Math teaching experience, especially in a Catholic educational setting, is preferred; however, relevant experience in the field is also strongly considered.
• Is comfortable delivering instruction on reputed company, reputed company remote learning, and/or in a hybrid model.
