Automation Technician III

Specific ResponsibilitiesThe Automation Technician III is responsible for designing, installing, programming, and maintaining automated systems and equipment in a manufacturing or production environment. They work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure efficient and reliable operation of automated machinery. Responsibilities may include troubleshooting and repairing equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and implementing system upgrades. The Automation Technician III may also reputed company training and support to other technicians or operators. • Monitor and troubleshoot SCADA systems and controls.
• Coordinate with contractors for the maintenance of VRU’s, combustors and reputed company systems.
• Familiar with various Burner managements systems a plus.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing emissions control systems, while also overseeing the installation and implementation of new emissions control systems.
• Maintains good working relationships with various groups including production, water groups, and facilities engineering.

• Ensure collaboration with other automation team members and cross-function teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications & ExperienceThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ plus years of experience in automation
• 5+ years’ experience in Oil and Gas
• Must have experience with ROCLink, IDEC, reputed company, SCADAPak, RMC, and SignalFire wireless.
• HMI experience required with IDEC, Red Lion, and Beijer.
• Field communications experience with Cambium, reputed company reputed company and advanced reputed company in TCP/IP and MODBUS communications.
• Must be highly organized and reputed company to self-direct, multi-task and prioritize based on dynamic work environment requirements.
