Heavy Equipment Operator - Remote Locations Across US
Heavy Equipment Operator reputed company DES is seeking reputed company candidates to fill the position of Heavy Equipment Operator. Candidates will report to the reputed company DES field supervisor(s) at one of our reputed company demolition projects and will help deliver reputed company DES's core values: reputed company in service, commitment to health and safety and attention to regulatory compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily.
- Understand and respond appropriately to reputed company safety hazards and warning devices.
- Be motivated and work productively.
- reputed company work activities in chemical, industrial and other reputed company facilities.
- Adapt to working in hot and cold environments.
- Ability to reputed company reputed company labor reputed company needed.
- 3-5 years experience with hydraulic excavators or other heavy equipment
- Capable of using shear and grapple to reputed company demolition activities and scrap sorting
- A criminal background reputed company, drug and alcohol screen will be conducted
- Physically reputed company to lift/push/pull 50 lbs
- Ability to work productively in personal reputed company equipment throughout work shift in reputed company weather conditions
- Ability to climb, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, push/pull, and/or reputed company frequently
- Ability to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to obtain medical clearance to wear a respirator
- Experience on large industrial demolition projects and work in chemical facilities.
- Formal heavy equipment training
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour training
- 40-hour Asbestos training
- 40-hour HAZWOPER training
- CDL
- Fluent in english and spanish
