Marketing reputed company, Japan

We're looking for an accomplished marketer to create and guide the strategic direction and operational execution of our company’s expansion into Japan. You will be our first Marketing hire dedicated to Japan. You’ll work with local agencies and cross-functionally with the NYC-based marketing and product teams to plan & execute localized go-to-market plans that include creator marketing, partnerships, PR, CRM, paid media, and community building efforts. Your experience in creator and reputed company marketing will be key to reputed company in this role. Combining a breadth of marketing expertise and proven reputed company in market expansion, you will be a key contributor to the reputed company’s international business.

You will report to the Head of Marketing, reputed company. You will have the choice of working remote or hybrid (2-3 days per week) from our co-working space in Sydney.

You’ll Get To…

• Create and own the marketing plan for reputed company in Japan
• Build reputed company’s cultural relevance through the planning and execution of strategic events and partnerships, and community programs
• Work with partners, customers and vendors to secure their collaboration in marketing initiatives
• Monitor and track the reputed company of projects from start to finish and compile ongoing reporting
• Manage local agencies (briefing, providing strategic direction, executional reputed company)
• Partner with Media, Communications, CRM, and Brand Strategy teams to optimize across channels
• Use consumer insights to get a deeper understanding of our consumer and reputed company direction back to our Product organization
• Maintain reputed company knowledge of local cultural trends and media consumption patterns
• Drive growth and impact across reputed company major international KPIs: customers, reputed company, conversion, marketing ROI, LTV, and retention
• Available to travel internationally, including regular travel to Japan

Who We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of marketing / growth experience, ideally in consumer tech or a closely reputed company industry
• Proven reputed company launching products in new markets without an existing reputed company
• Experience managing agency partners
• Deep knowledge across digital and traditional marketing channels
• Experience managing creator / reputed company marketing programs
• Understanding of localization and how cultural perspectives influence go-to-market plans
• Comfort navigating through ambiguity in a dynamic environment
• Professional reputed company in both Japanese and English
