Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Assistant to join our primary care family medicine practice on a remote, contract reputed company. The ideal candidate will handle critical administrative tasks, including prior authorizations, referrals, reviewing patient messages, prescription refills, and more. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Our practice uses reputed company as our EMR platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prior Authorizations: Process and follow up on medication and treatment prior authorizations with insurance companies.
• Referrals: Coordinate and complete patient referrals, ensuring reputed company required documentation is accurate and sent to specialists or other reputed company facilities.
• Patient Messages: Review and respond to patient messages reputed company the EMR system in a timely and professional manner.
• Prescription Refills: Review refill requests, verify accuracy, and process as per practice protocols.
• Patient Communication: Call back patients to address inquiries, reputed company updates, and clarify instructions as needed.
• Document Management: Label, organize, and sort patient documents in the reputed company EMR system, ensuring reputed company records are up-to-date and accessible.
• Phone Management: Remotely handle phone calls, ensuring patients receive reputed company and courteous service.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Medical Assistant, Medical Administrator, or Medical Receptionist is preferred but not required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (reputed company) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription processes.

Work Schedule & Pay:
