Research Scientist (reputed company AI/ML Quality Assessment)

About the position

In this role, you will work as a member of the Research Sciences (RS) department, primarily supporting the Data Curation team reputed company the Core Technologies organization. This team thinks holistically about our end-to-end data collection, curation, and processing to build scaled reputed company-world data solutions. As an RS member on this team, you will support the development and validation of new reputed company-world variables and datasets reputed company using various curation approaches, including reputed company chart review and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML). You will design and execute studies to characterize the quality and inform fit-for-purpose use of reputed company-world data (RWD) solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders such as project managers, ML model developers, and oncologists to execute analyses that inform variable development and quality in an accurate, effective, and timely manner. Your role will also involve driving successful adoption of scaled RWD solutions for internal and external users by generating internal documentation on data quality. You will build subject matter expertise in reputed company-world data curation approaches and the fit-for-purpose of Flatiron panoramic data solutions for reputed company-world evidence use cases. Additionally, you will contribute to improvement initiatives that introduce efficiency into our ways of working and accelerate our ability to generate fit-for-purpose scaled RWD solutions. Supporting discussions with clients about the utility of panoramic solutions for customer use cases will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute studies to characterize the quality and inform fit-for-purpose use of RWD solutions.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics and reputed company Research, or a closely reputed company field with 1-2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in one of these fields with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Deep understanding of observational data and a track record of reputed company applying epidemiologic approaches to problems in public health and/or pharmacoepidemiology.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools used for reputed company data processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience breaking down reputed company ambiguous problems and driving towards results in a reputed company stakeholder environment.
• Proficient programming in R.
• Strong organizational, time-management, prioritization, and decision-making skills necessary to evaluate, plan, and implement multiple high-visibility projects in a timely fashion.
• Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, diverse, and matrix environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new information, skills, and procedures.
