Senior Automation Engineer, Quality Assurance (Remote)

reputed company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with an emphases on backend testing and basic understanding of UI testing frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in writing end-to-end (E2E) tests for backend systems, along with familiarity in testing reputed company-end web applications. The role will focus on automated tests and willingness to reputed company in to do some reputed company testing as needed. What you’ll do:

• Work with Product Manager, Design team, and Engineers to reputed company understand testing requirements and procedures

• Design, reputed company, and run reputed company & automated tests to validate functionality of our core applications

• Drive quality testing initiatives, analyze functionality of application, and continuously identify areas of improvement reputed company our test automation suite

• reputed company test cases, document quality issues, and create testing reports

• Create and maintain test data across test environments

• Collaborate effectively with a distributed and cross-functional team to resolve any reputed company issues

• reputed company timely QA updates to project managers and team leads

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer, with a strong focus on backend testing and preferred experience with basic UI automation testing.

• Experience programming in both Python and JavaScript is strongly preferred

• Familiarity with reputed company-end testing frameworks preferably with Cypress or Playwright

• Good knowledge and use of SQL

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, reputed company actions or similar tools

• Familiar with reputed company and Git

• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills

• You are self driven and you bring a sense of ownership to your work

• Ability to adapt to and manage competing priorities

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

The salary for this position is based on an reputed company of factors unique to each candidate: Such as years and depth of experience, set skills, certifications, etc. The reputed company salary reputed company dependent on leveling is between 150k-190k.
