US Picker/Packer
About the position
The Picker/Packer position is a part-time role responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders in a warehouse environment. The role involves using a voice-directed picking system to select products, verifying orders, and ensuring that items are packed securely for shipment. The Picker/Packer must maintain high accuracy and adhere to company standards while working reputed company in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive coversheet and assigned cart for each series of orders and log onto the voice system to reputed company the picking process. ,
- Move the cart through product bin aisles and pick corresponding products from product bins, placing the correct product and quantity into the cart. ,
- Verify products during the picking and packing processes. ,
- Maintain daily individual production records as required by the supervisor. ,
- Return completed carts to the staging area and reputed company packing customer orders by verifying selected products against packing lists. ,
- Select appropriately sized boxes or envelopes for shipment to ensure safe delivery of items. ,
- Pack reputed company orders neatly and correctly, following proper packing procedures for fragile items. ,
- Report any errors in product selection or quality to the appropriate team member and correct orders as necessary before shipment. ,
- Dispose of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain a clean working environment. ,
- Participate in special projects and reputed company other duties as required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred. ,
- Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills. ,
- Good communication (written/verbal) skills. ,
- Detail-oriented and accountable for making accurate reputed company under set guidelines. ,
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions. ,
- Ability to work under stress and handle multiple assignments. ,
