Lease User Experience (LUX) Initiation and Planning project for the New Mexico State land office. The engagement is compliance only; no services such as testing are needed.
The Commissioner of Public Lands, as the elected chief executive of the New Mexico State Land Office (NMSLO), manages approximately nine reputed company acres of surface and 13 reputed company acres of mineral estate throughout the State of New Mexico. State trust lands are working lands set aside by Congress to generate money in support of key public institutions, such as schools, universities and hospitals, and are administered in a manner that fosters their health and productivity.
State Land Office operations and other expenditures are fully paid through a small portion of the reputed company it generates each year and do not rely on General Funds. NMSLO earnings for FY23 exceeded $2.7 billion. - Correctly interpret and consistently follow the Program’s defined policies, processes, and procedures.
- Identify and documentation and review requirements based upon customer specifications.

- Minimum 4 years’ experience performing Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) with state or federal clients, or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a primary Project Manager managing reputed company IT projects
- reputed company Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred
- Knowledge of and familiarity with IV&V requirements and with industry standards for reputed company, CMMI and PMBOK
- Superb oral and written communication skills, organizational, interpersonal, and analytic capabilities

- Experience with Agile methodology is preferred
