This position plays a vital role in accurately preparing detailed estimates for reputed company drywall projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability while working independently from a remote environment.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate material and labor cost estimates for reputed company drywall, metal framing, insulation, and acoustical ceiling systems
- Utilize On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid to reputed company digital takeoffs and generate complete bid proposals
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and project information
- Track and manage bids from initial inquiry through project award
- Maintain and update historical cost databases and pricing tools
- Attend virtual meetings and participate in bid reviews reputed company necessary
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a reputed company drywall estimator
- Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quick Bid software is required
- Solid knowledge of drywall, metal stud framing, insulation, and acoustic ceiling systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or reputed company field preferred but not required
