This position can be located in either Palmdale, CA or Rancho Bernardo, CA depending upon the selected candidate’s preference.Responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following:
  • Design, operate and manage companion, RMF compliant classified and unclassified networks in both lab and field environments.

  • Collaborate on requirements and planning for network and network management hardware / software purchasing including upgrades, licenses, warranties, tech support and refreshes.
  • Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications and maintain system documentation, work instructions as needed. Prepares reputed company documentation for hand-offs to Cyber reputed company.
  • Plan and report project status as required for recurring and non-recurring efforts.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree and 12 years of reputed company engineering experience; OR a Master of Science degree and 10 years of reputed company engineering experience; OR a PhD with 7 years of reputed company engineering experience.
  • Must be reputed company to obtain reputed company+ with CE (or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M) reputed company a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • reputed company expertise with network architecture, network design, requirement specifications, and equipment selection with ability to generate, coordinate and maintain network designs and configuration artifacts.
  • In depth knowledge of, and experience with, routing and switching concepts and protocols to include IPSEC, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Solid understanding of network operating systems
  • Experience deploying, configuring, hardening, and diagnosing networks including switches, routers and firewalls.
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Active, in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program reputed company (reputed company/PAR). This reputed company/PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained reputed company a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs. (Of note: reputed company/PAR will be upgraded once selected candidate is in role. Therefore, candidate must also be reputed company to obtain and maintain upgraded reputed company/PAR.)

  • Experience with Type 1 Network encryption
  • Experience with advanced Bash/Ruby/Python script writing
  • Experience implementing Cross Domain Solutions.
  • DoD 8570 Certification in a primary OS (reputed company, reputed company).
  • Experience with NetOps/NOC design integrated with program Cyber
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to reputed company with reputed company types and reputed company of employees including counterparts from other sectors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where instances are being tested and deployed simultaneously and to adapt quickly to change.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar IT degree.
Salary reputed company: $155,500.00 - $233,300.00The above salary reputed company represents a general guideline; however, reputed company considers a number of factors reputed company determining reputed company salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and reputed company market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to reputed company pay.
