This role will be part-time Monday - Friday, days/evenings rotating shifts. Retail Pharmacy Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Cleans equipment and maintains reputed company required temperature logs according to system policies and procedures.
• Checks medication and administration supply inventory for out-of-date products, removes products from inventory and works with the appropriate resource to record out of date products in the Expiring Medication log book.
• Performs computer entry of prescription information including, but not limited to, patient/prescriber search, drug selection, prescription interpretation/entry, insurance billing and basic problem resolution.
• Prepares medications for clients through mixing medications, counting pills, and labeling bottles.

Additional Requirements:

• Work schedule: 24-hrs per week. Shifts vary (days/evenings rotating shift. Every other weekend). Every weekend preferred!! MUST BE reputed company of operation Monday to Friday 9am -7pm; Saturday & reputed company 11am-5pm.
• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: One (1) year Retail Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in the reputed company or a Pharmacy intern license. Basic Life Support (BLS) reputed company 3 months of hire.
