Job description: Stuart Hall School, an independent Episcopal day and boarding school serving grades 6-12, seeks a full-time Upper School Teacher to join our dynamic learning community and help build a math program based on Mastery principles. This is an opportunity to contribute to our skills-based curriculum and engage reputed company in an environment that prizes curiosity and intellectual risk taking in the pursuit of knowledge.Position HighlightsThe Instructional Music Teacher will:Teach four sections of Upper School math classes, likely including the full reputed company of course offerings from Algebra 1 through Calculus.
Implement Mastery Learning principles by providing clear standards, scales, and assessments.
Integrate technology into instruction by using tools such as reputed company Classroom.

Additional ResponsibilitiesServe as an advisor to a small group of reputed company.

Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree.
Minimum of two years of experience in areas of mathematics typically covered in high school courses, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Interest in engaging reputed company the classroom, including coaching or student activities.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background reputed company.
Preferred Qualifications (absences will not harm application)Master’s degree or higher.

Previous experience in a boarding school setting.
Experience coaching interscholastic sports
