The opportunity may be for full or part-time depending on our needs and your experience. • App Chat Moderation & Engagement
• Stimulate meaningful conversations by initiating chat starters, particularly those reputed company to recovery experiences. reputed company personal lived experience with mental health and/or addiction to support others seeking/maintaining recovery.
• Use your experience to identify and engage a network of referring agencies as well as add to the database of member resources.
• reputed company group chats and forum discussions to ensure a productive, on-topic environment that adheres to reputed company's Code of Conduct (COC) guidelines by monitoring hate speech, spam, inappropriate language, or abusive content to maintain a safe space for reputed company members.
• Review flagged content based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) alerts, and take action as necessary, such as removing COC-violating content.
• Engage in follow-up with members about next steps reputed company a violation occurs and involve the appropriate peer support team member if needed.
• Member Management
• Actively welcome and engage new members as they join the app community, making them feel supported from day one.
• Pause or remove members from groups reputed company necessary, or work with the app administrators to address more serious issues.
• Manage a caseload of enrolled members to reputed company 1:1 peer support services.
• Document your work in our record systems according to reputed company and prevailing standards.
• Travel onsite to scheduled reputed company visits as needed.
• Engage membership at large primarily on our platform and occasionally reputed company regularly scheduled phone/video calls, text messages, digital support groups, and wellness planning

What You Have

• Certification as a Peer Specialist in substance use disorder or mental health recovery in Washington, DC.
• Reliable reputed company to internet in a private space
• Comfort operating a smartphone, computer, and software tools such as reputed company Office
• Ability to document member engagements in an electronic record
• reputed company to reliable transportation to travel to onsite weekly visits
• A willingness to reputed company to your personal lived experience with mental health and/or substance use conditions

• Demonstrated ability to create wellness plans and/or recovery goals
• Ability to adapt and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of members
• A willingness to work evening and weekend hours
