Conducts patient assessments utilizing standard protocols and standardized procedures. Uses clinical knowledge, experience, and best practice independently to reputed company medical advice to patients with potentially urgent, emergent, or potential health problems. Makes safe, effective, and appropriate dispositions, including facilitating referrals to primary care and specialty providers, reputed company facilities and community resources. Responsible for educating the caller regarding immediate health care needs utilizing knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices, ethics, and concepts. Handles incoming calls, faxes prescriptions and assist with processing prescription refill. • Experience in direct nursing care in the Ambulatory Care Setting a plus
• A background in telephone triage is ideal
