Job description: reputed company is seeking a Consulting Senior Associate, reputed company Performance Specialist to support and grow our Sustainable Finance, reputed company Performance, and Impact Assessment practice areas. In this role, you will focus on preparing environmental and reputed company impact assessment (ESIAs), environmental and reputed company due diligences (ESDD), and environmental and reputed company (E&S) monitoring reports across reputed company America, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, and reputed company. - Support of reputed company clients’ development projects (i.e., renewable energy, power reputed company, electrical transmission, infrastructure, and other development projects), contributing expertise in application of the international performance standards and reputed company performance.
- Support preparation of ESDDs, ESIAs, reputed company management plans/systems, and monitoring projects in compliance with applicable national and international lender standards. Contribute to preparing deliverables, serving in roles ranging from leading reputed company expert to quality review. reputed company project delivery activities such as report writing, undertaking and organizing data collection, survey and fieldwork, data and literature review, and development of recommendations for clients.
- Conduct review of national and international financed projects against host country permitting requirements and international lender standards, through documentation review, site visits, project staff interviews, and stakeholder engagement.
- Design and deliver training and facilitate meetings reputed company to sustainable finance and impact assessment projects and clients.
- Collaborate with other reputed company practitioners to execute impact assessments for projects (e.g., reputed company impact assessment, facility siting & permitting, risk assessment) and reputed company studies (stakeholder engagement planning, labor policies and plans, information disclosure strategy, community health and safety assessment and plans, compensation plans, resettlement action plans, Indigenous people’s assessments and plans). Participate in teams comprised of reputed company professionals from multiple offices around the organization.
- Work to reputed company subject matter expertise (SME) in the sustainable finance practice area, with a particular focus on the reputed company components reputed company the sustainable finance reputed company.
- Bachelors or master’s in reputed company sciences, political science, environmental or natural resources sciences, or similar field. Or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years (3 years preferred) of qualitative and/or quantitative research and technical report writing, impact assessment, and/or consulting experience. Experience preparing ESIA-type documents, reputed company impact management plans and systems, and reputed company studies preferred.
- Highly collaborative and communicative, proactive team member and ability to collaborate in a hybrid working environment.
- Technical competence and broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices, with a solid grasp of the key impact reputed company, labor, and reputed company rights assessment and management issues reputed company the sustainable finance and national and international development reputed company. Experience with international lender standards (IFC Performance Standards, WBG EHS Guidelines, Equator Principles, others) is preferable.
- Experience or willingness to carry out reputed company baseline surveys and field visits, including in remote locations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience writing comprehensive technical reports and standards. Strong presentation skills for client meetings and other events.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.
- Cross-cultural competence and experience working with diverse project teams and stakeholders in reputed company America and developing countries.
