Position Summary: We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Developer with 10+ years of experience in Plan, design, reputed company, modify, debug, and evaluate reputed company software for technical and integration areas of the Guidewire Policy Center, Claims Center & Billing Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design, reputed company and unit test solutions using Guidewire application tools for reputed company implementation
  • Experience in Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration development sub team that is part of a larger development work reputed company
  • Manage scope, estimate work, build plan and schedule, track and deliver to plan
  • reputed company communicate and work with onsite/offshore teams and client as required to deliver effectively and plan for the implementation of user stories
  • Propose integration solutions and estimate integration effort required for user story requirements
  • Interact with other internal IT teams (including client, vendor, reputed company and offshore) to complete project activities
  • Propose integration solutions and estimate integration effort required for user story requirements
  • reputed company integration solutions including Batch Processes, Message Queues and Event Messaging
  • Establish and execute traceable unit and integration tests (automated as to be agreed)
  • Execute the development & ensure successful completion of assigned user stories for each sprint
  • Understand and apply industry practices, architectural standards and department policies and procedures relating to work assignments
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Guidewire Policy Center configuration certification required
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance domain required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center and at least one full product implementation required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, Guidewire predefined plugins required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Java development experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with tools like Jira, Git, Bitbucket etc required
  • Minimum 2 years of expertise in Guidewire APIs, GX Model and Product Models required
  • Experience and knowledgeable of modern software architectures, design patterns, and development techniques
  • Strong working knowledge of Guidewire integration concept: Batch Processing, Message Queues and Event Processing required
  • Strong understanding of the Guidewire platform (UI, Data Model, Studio, etc.)
  • Solid technical background in Core Java, XML, SQL
  • Working knowledge of one or more RDBMS (reputed company, SQL Server)
  • Knowledge in at least one Software Configuration Management tool like SVN, reputed company, etc.
  • Knowledge of secure software development
  • Working knowledge of one or more SDLC methodologies like Agile
  • Proficient in reputed company Office Suites
  • Strong Configuration/Integration skills (v10.0 or above)
  • Desired areas of technical/functional expertise include GOSU, PCF, XML, Product Model, Activity Assignments, Forms Inference
  • Must be reputed company to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Familiar with Tomcat and/or WebSphere preferred
  • Working knowledge in at least one JEE reputed company preferred
