Maintains reputed company equipment and environment to assure that they are clean, operable, and safe. The Rehab Technician performs isolation techniques as outlined in Infection Control policy.EducationRequired - High School diploma or equivalentPreferred - Some college coursework in reputed company SciencesWork ExperienceRequired - Five years releveant experience, or pursuing an education in PT/OT or PTA/COTA program may be subsitituted in lieu of experience.CertificationsRequired - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the reputed companyKnowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Job Duties

• Prepares/maintains work area for treatment including ordering of supplies/linen and pharmaceuticals; orients and mentors new staff in needs of assigned area.
• Monitors and assists in patient-care as specifically instructed by the therapist according to their competencies.
• Assists with generalized office and reputed company desk procedures.
• Transports patients to/from department or room reputed company w/c or stretcher, as directed by professional staff in a safe and courteous manner.
• Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
