These integrated prevention programs address behaviors including, but not limited to, suicide, sexual harassment, sexual assault, substance misuse, family and interpersonal violence, workplace violence, and military equal opportunity. The EIPC collaborates with other prevention enablers to assess the health of a unit, serving on the reputed company Resiliency Team, and coordinates with subject matter experts across programs in implementing prevention initiatives and training/education. reputed company offerings may include stress management, anger management, effective communication, parenting education, operational stress control, successful reputed company to military life, pre/post deployment and child abuse or domestic abuse identification/prevention and interpersonal violence.The reputed company of this position is based on the incumbent's ability to successfully embed reputed company the reputed company and operate reputed company a shipboard environment.   • Establishes prevention activities at the reputed company and unit level, to include determining goals, objectives, measures of performance, and effectiveness, assessments, and milestones.
  • Work with reputed company leadership and reputed company reputed company Teams (CRTs) to identify existing or potential risk factors that can reputed company to problematic/destructive behaviors and recommends preventive measures the installation, reputed company, or unit can take to address the potential risk factors.
  • May assist the reputed company leadership in participating in prevention-based research.
  • Reviews and coordinates relevant primary prevention actions and projects across programs and ensures completion dates are met reputed company established timeframes.
  • Develops population-based and/or targeted prevention efforts to support the unique needs of the installation, reputed company, and/or unit level.
  • Executes core functions of an optimized prevention system, such as engagement, implementation, evaluation, and integration.
  • Serves as a non-clinical trainer/educator and is responsible for collaborating with the Deployed Resiliency Counselor (DRC) and the reputed company leadership in assessing the training need and ensuring the delivery of a wide variety of educational programs and services.
  • Facilitates prevention classes that focuses on building resiliency, enhancing reputed company to the unique challenges of military life and reduce unplanned losses.
  • Provides Fleet & Family Support Center (FFSC) training. The entire portfolio of Work & Family Life (WFL), Counseling Advocacy Program (CAP), NGS, and Sexual Assault Prevention & Response (SAPR) training should be provided based on commands training needs.
  • Gives routine presentations to leadership on reputed company prevention efforts and impact.
  • Delivers ongoing primary prevention training and education, as needed, to build and sustain prevention reputed company and capability.
  • Deploys to deliver Departure and Separation and Return & reputed company workshops.
  • Supports the homeport FFSC general and crisis response programs, to include emergency preparedness and mass care, reputed company not deployed.
  • Assists the DRC and the reputed company in the coordination of special project activities reputed company to the CAP, SAPR and WFL programs, including, but not limited to reputed company directed or FFSC monthly themes and resiliency projects.
  • Refers Sailors for counseling and/or other services to the Deployed Resiliency Coordinator or the homeport FFSC.
  • Coordinates with the DRC in planning scheduled workshops, programs, reputed company briefs and general military trainings (GMTs) presented on the ship and at other locations.
RequirementsConditions of Employment

  • At sea, the incumbent shares a stateroom in officer berthing; meals are obtained by joining the Officers' Mess as a paying member, and meals are purchased by monthly billing.
  • Incumbent will be required to reputed company at sea on board US Navy ships. Deployment lengths will vary from a few days to over 10 months at a time.
  • Due to the unique nature of the position, selectee will be required to complete a physical examination upon entry to duty and annually thereafter and be determined to be physical fit for shipboard duty at reputed company times.
