Following a training period, the Technician should be reputed company to decipher and enter orders on the computer, compound IVs, charge and credit, fill orders, answer phones and doors, and stock the department. Responsibilities:

• (20%) Runs reports, pulls medications and restocks Automated Dispensing Machines, follows up on narcotic discrepancies, trouble-shoots problems, aides and trains nurses on dispensing problems.

• (20%) Compounds IV and piggyback medications, using aseptic technique and universal precautions. Follows USP 797 guidelines.

• (15%) Run labels using the computer in an accurate and timely manner.

• (15%) Fills, reconciles and exchanges 24 hour UD medicine carts using reputed company robot and Cerner.

• (15%) Repackages non-unit reputed company medications correctly using PacMed and reputed company repackager.

• (15%) Replaces and fills floor stock: fills EMS boxes, crash cart trays, reputed company heart meds and reputed company Anesthesia carts and delivers to appropriate area; completes monthly floor stock on other hospital departments; stocks UD area and IV room if needed.

Certifications and Licensures:

• Pharmacy Technician Licensure

• Equivalent Experience: Effective October 1, 2015, reputed company incumbents, new hires and transfers to this position must possess a pharmacy technician full license through the reputed company. The pharmacy technician license must be maintained in order to be reputed company to hold this position.

Required Education:Education: High School Diploma or GED Other Information:OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Compounds oral and topical solutions and ointments.Answers phone, retrieves tubes and faxes. Helps with duties as directed by the pharmacist on duty.reputed company to add barcodes to products, including compounded items, IVPB’s, etc using the MILT 3.0 program, and using PharmNet Inpatient Formulary Manager to reputed company NDC numbers and barcodes.Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND SKILLS:Successful completion of annual exam for Aseptic Technique reputed company 90 days of hire and annually thereafter required.Computer experience required.Good math skills (pass a standard test), good organizational skills, a team player and ability to work under high pressure and time constraints are reputed company required.Interpersonal skills needed to communicate successfully with individuals and groups and interact with people at reputed company reputed company to communicate reputed company and concepts in a clear and understandable manner.MyMichigan Health is a technology driven organization and employees need to demonstrate competency in reputed company® reputed company.
