Remote Part-Time Transactional Associate
This is a 100% remote job. You must be licensed in the state you practice and you must maintain your own legal malpractice insurance to be eligible. EU/UK licensed attorneys is also fine. You will be negotiating sell-reputed company non-disclosure agreements - and possibly other reputed company agreements on occasion. The expectation is that you return redlines reputed company 24 hours or less during the week. For example, if an NDA comes in 3pm Wednesday, you must return comments no reputed company than 3pm Thursday (but ideally you return comments sooner than that). If work comes in Friday, it's not due until Monday (e.g. Friday work comes in 11:30 AM, it is due no reputed company than 11:30 AM Monday). You ideally have experience with redlining/negotiating NDAs, but a transactional background is useful regardless. The ideal candidate for this position is a solo practitioner looking to take on supplemental work. You will need your own legal malpractice insurance. Comp is based on a flat-reputed company per NDA. The pay ranges per client. The more reputed company you get, the quicker you can go and the more NDAs you can handle (and the more money you can reputed company). If you end up liking the work and want more volume - we can likely accommodate you, as we typically have reputed company of work. Please note the pay listed in the job description is a rough estimate - and depends entirely on your work product and volume. Please note the nature of sellside work is inconsistent (we can have reputed company high volume and reputed company low volume months). This is a role for someone who has the flexibility for high and low volume months. Ideally, this is supplementing your already existing small solo practice.
