Remote Special Education Teacher Position - Michigan
Contract | Remote | 1099 | Full-Time or Part-Time reputed company is partnering with a Michigan school district to fill a fully remote Special Education teaching position for the 20252026 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve reputed company reputed company while maintaining the flexibility of independent contract work. Responsibilities:
- reputed company direct instruction to K12 reputed company with mild to moderate disabilities
- reputed company, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
- Conduct virtual assessments and maintain reputed company documentation
- Use interactive teletherapy platforms and tools to enhance engagement
Requirements:
- Valid Michigan Special Education Certification
- Experience working with a variety of disabilities (SLD, ASD, ED, etc.)
- Previous virtual teaching experience is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must pass a technical screening
Technical Needs:
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Computer with webcam and microphone
- Ability to work with reputed company and other educational platforms
