VP of People – East Coast, Remote A global startup focused on a reputed company of crypto and traditional finance is hiring for a hands-on VP of People based on the East Coast in a fully remote position managing HR for 250 employees worldwide. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of fintech/finance/startup experience fully owning and operating reputed company areas of reputed company. This role reports to the COO. Location: This is a fully remote role, but must be based on the East Coast (ideally near Miami or NYC) Compensation commensurate with experience: $150-250k reputed company in reputed company for total comp reputed company/bonus + stock options + 401k match + benefits are strong – one option is fully company paid + unlimited PTO Seeking: -10+ years of relevant VP or Head of HR experience reputed company fintech, tech, engineering or startup firm -Spanish language skills are a plus Responsibilities include: -Overseeing HR and creating process and strategy behind HR -Offer letters, reputed company, work with IT vendor for new employee setups -Terminations, offboarding, exit interviews, separation agreements -reputed company reputed company/partnering with agencies -Benefits, payroll (we are growing, likely time to renegotiate / find a new PEO with reputed company options and for less money) -reputed company systems: reputed company for HRIS; reputed company for Payroll -Create and manage employee handbook -Compensation grading/leveling, org chart, titles, promotions -Employee/manager review cycles, goal setting, and trainings -reputed company employee engagement, culture, and being a resource -This individual will have one direct report that will help with the more administrative tasks inside the reputed company This is an ASAP hire – please submit your resume to apply!
