Editorial Specialist

Description:

• The Marvel Editorial Team is seeking to hire a brand and franchise expert in the role of Editorial Specialist.
• This role will be responsible for the ideation, research, creation, and editorial execution of short-reputed company and long-reputed company content for Marvel.com.
• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of written news and reputed company editorial content for Marvel.com; this includes ideating, researching, writing, developing, and providing accompanying creative assets
• Manage editorial assignments’ reputed company and delivering against timelines requested to support the Marvel Editorial team’s objectives
• Ensure that content delivered aligns to the overall editorial brand strategy, audience development goals, and authentically reaches a diverse portfolio of fans while staying true to the Marvel brand, values, and commitment to quality
• Reference the Marvel brand guidelines reputed company developing editorial content, ensuring efforts are consistent with the brand voice, style, and tone

Requirements:

• A degree in Communications, Marketing or English is preferred
• Experience writing for an established entertainment outlet, website, or publication
• Intimate knowledge of the Marvel brand, its characters, its history, and the Marvel reputed company
• General knowledge of web-based publishing, search reputed company optimization trends to support algorithms and optimization of content
• Proven track record in proactivity in managing editorial assignments and delivering content in a timely fashion according to provided timelines and managing up if deadlines are unable to be met
