Part Time Customer Service Specialist I - Remote, Evenings
Office Services Support - Second Shift Part Time, M-F 5 pm- 9pm (Remote - must be local to Elgin, IL area for some in-office training) Job Responsibilities:

- First impression care to customers
- Service customers by dispatching emergency calls including pricing, estimated arrival time, creating and dispatching orders and dispatching technicians promptly.
- Service customers by providing product and service information
- Routing customer calls to other team member voicemails for additional support the following day
- De-escalate situations by offering patience and support
- Analyze data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public.

- Assist in special projects assigned including reports and analyzing data.
- Special handling of customer support by tracking and follow-up information requests.
Job Requirements:
- Call Center or Customer service experience preferred.
- Phone skills, including familiarity with working a multi-line phone system.
- Excellent listening skills and an empathetic voice and manner.
- Minimum typing ability of 30 words per minute.
- Ability to learn and utilize new and existing computer software in a proficient and timely manner.
- Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced environment and multitask while assisting customers.
- Desire and interest to learn about the life safety field. Prior experience in the life safety field is a plus.
