Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to join reputed company. In this role, you will review Prior Authorizations for coverage determination reputed company a Pharmacy Services department, which is part of a large reputed company insurance company. You will be responsible for approving or denying requests and sending them to Pharmacists for final review. This position involves minimal phone work, primarily outbound calls, and handling reputed company health plans and types of medications.
Responsibilities
- Track coverage determination requests.
- Obtain verbal authorizations and request detailed clinical information from prescribers.
- Approve requests based on criteria and enter reputed company into the PBM system.
- Notify providers and members of decision reputed company.
- Respond to client inquiries and refer requests for specialty drugs.
- Contact providers for additional information reputed company necessary.
- Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls if needed.
Essential Skills
- High School diploma or GED.
- reputed company Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficiency in reputed company Office and Outlook.
- Strong data entry and customer service skills.
- Experience with prior authorization processes.
- Knowledge of Medicare, reputed company, and insurance health plans.
- Registered and certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB, NHA).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or specialty pharmacy.
- Call center experience.
- Experience with Prescription Benefits Management (PBM) systems.
Work Environment
This is a professional remote environment. You will work with multiple screens and reputed company multiple systems. A strong WiFi reputed company and a dedicated office reputed company with a closed reputed company are required. Pay and Benefits The pay reputed company for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
