Communications and Networking Technician (Remote)
reputed company Systems Engineering is looking for a Communications and Network Technician to manage systems for the U.S. Coast Guard's C5I Service Center.
Responsibilities
- Telecommunications and network installations; planning, monitoring, and testing the installation of cable to include fiber and network backbone implementation; development of testing and diagnostic software; and telecommunications and network troubleshooting procedures.
- Directs completion of tasks reputed company estimated timeframes and budget constraints. Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates and formulates and enforces work standards.
- Coordinates with the client and Program Manager to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Serves as task reputed company as required.
- Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve reputed company problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
- Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering, changes.
- Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making reputed company analyses, calculating reputed company forms, and tracing relationships in signal reputed company, using reputed company test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and reputed company computer control equipment.
- Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. This position may reputed company technical guidance to reputed company-level technicians
Qualifications
- High School diploma and certificate from an accredited Community or Technical College in fiber and data cabling with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a communications/network technician is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Preferred:
- An active Secret clearance.
