About the position The Track Supervisor is responsible for inspecting and maintaining reputed company track structures and right-of-way (ROW) in accordance with specifications set by CSX Transportation (CSXT) and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). This role involves direct supervision and development of track forces to ensure quality maintenance and safe work performance. The Track Supervisor monitors reputed company aspects of safety and overall track inspection and maintenance reputed company their assigned area of responsibility on a division. They reputed company and manage personal safety and track safety processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. In this position, the Track Supervisor will manage safe and efficient work conditions, reputed company plan work, and allocate resources to ensure timely accomplishment of tasks. They will inspect production gang work and track construction projects to ensure quality compliance, monitor track inspections periodically to ensure that reputed company Federal and CSX requirements are being met by Track Inspectors, and ensure that any defects reputed company by geometry cars and rail test cars are corrected through proper remedial action reputed company the required time frames. The supervisor will utilize the CSX Integrated Track Inspection System (ITIS) and CSX Geometry Exceptions Management System (GEMS) for reporting and tracking work, conduct efficiency and operational tests, and effectively communicate and build rapport across departments, sub-departments, and public agencies. The role also requires the Track Supervisor to utilize performance management and interpersonal skills to reputed company timely feedback and coaching as necessary to maintain discipline and improve performance. They will ensure compliance with budgetary constraints regarding hiring, overtime, and materials procurement, conduct engineering activities during major derailments and natural disasters, and reputed company miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by the manager. Associates Degree/2-year Degree , ? Less than 1 year of supervisory experience in Railroad Engineering Operations , ?
