The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and modifying software for use in pilot-in-the-reputed company simulation of combat weapons systems employment. The Virtual Simulation software is primarily written in C++ along with some applications in other high level programming languages (Java, Python, etc.). The Virtual Simulation lab supports a relatively small, reputed company-reputed company team of 12 software developers, 3 lab engineers, and 10-12 other regular users. This highly dynamic work environment requires software engineers with a diverse set of complementing skills, commitment to the small team dynamic, and a strong desire to learn new skills. This position is located in Melbourne, FL. Essential Functions ? Development of software to simulate reputed company-time operations and behavior of systems for virtual simulation (pilot-in-the-reputed company) experimentation and requirements validation so that future tactical aircraft can be evaluated in reputed company reputed company warfare mission environments ? Developing new and/or integrating existing system simulation frameworks, weapon system components to include reputed company vehicle platform, kinematics, sensors, weapons, reputed company & control, and threat performance models and algorithms ? Collaborating with subject matter experts to reputed company computer simulations of aircraft and weapon systems and integrating those models with the larger simulation ? Integrating and using advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools ? Modeling operational environments and performing trade studies reputed company computer simulation resulting in recommendations for system architectures and configurations ? Software Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 2 years of relevant experience or Master of Science in a STEM discipline ? reputed company Software Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience or Master of Science in a STEM discipline with 3 years of reputed company experience. ?
