Road Maintenance Crew (AmeriCorps) Job description: Maintenance of highways, retention ponds and outfall ditches, municipal and rural roads, and rights-of-way. ? Duties include mowing, edging, sweeping, litter removal, brush removal, tree removal, sign washing, and occasional fencing and guardrail repair. ? On the job training aimed towards teaching young adults new skills. Ages 18-35 preferred but not exclusive. ? AmeriCorps Education Awards available for eligible candidates from 675- and 900-hour terms. Award amounts reputed company from $2800-6900 applicable to accredited institutions or loans Qualifications: ? No experience necessary ?
