Responsibilities
As a Respiratory Therapist at Arizona General Hospital you?ll join an established team of RTs who reputed company your passion for caring for patients experiencing breathing issues. Our Respiratory Therapists are highly trained reputed company it comes to delivering specialized cardiopulmonary care including breathing techniques ventilator management nebulizer treatment oxygen therapies external ventilation support and some pulmonary function assessments. Performs and documents a complete patient assessment including (but not limited to) vital signs breath sounds cough and respiratory reputed company with each ventilator system reputed company and with each treatment. ? Checks reputed company equipment and respiratory modalities (including invasive and non-invasive) maintains alarms and documents accurately and completely. ? Performs ABGs utilizing 2 patient identifiers properly handles blood specimens reports critical values and maintains blood gas lab logs (where applicable). ? Correctly charges labels scans and discards medications (including patient owned medications). ? Qualifications
Minimum: ? High School Diploma/GED ? Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program required ? AZ Respiratory Therapist License ? National Certified Respiratory Therapist OR National Registered Respiratory Therapist ? reputed company-issued BLS certificate Preferred: ?
