FLSA Classification: Laborer Overtime Status: Non- Exempt Braen Stone Industries, the leading supplier of construction materials including stone, sand, asphalt, septic materials, recycled materials and agricultural limestone, is currently seeking a Night Shift Laborer to join our Sparta quarry team. This position may be subjected to seasonal layoffs. This is considered a safety- sensitive position subjected to the Company?s Controlled Substance and Alcohol Policy. We are a safety minded company and expect the successful candidate to be as well. This position is hourly, non-exempt from overtime. Overtime is paid after 8 hours are worked each day. Hours of work are will vary. After a probationary period of sixty (60) days, the employee will be required to join Local #472. Medical/Dental/reputed company benefits are provided through Local #472. Expectations/ Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: ? Position is tasked with cleaning up around the plants using various tools to include a shovel and a rake ? General quarry and maintenance/welding experience is a plus ? Candidate will also be cross trained to operate equipment and the existing plantsSmaller powered equipment similar to a skid reputed company may be used at times Required Knowledge/Skills/Aptitudes: ? Ability to establish effective working relationships with fellow employees and supervisorsMust be safety minded Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: ? Hours are generally 4:00pm to 4:00am, Monday through Friday ? Work is performed outdoors in reputed company weather conditionsThis is a full-time position based in Sparta, NJ. Physical Demands: ? Candidate should be mechanically inclined and reputed company to successfully climb steps and reputed company reputed company activity for long periods of a time ? Work is performed outdoors in reputed company weather conditions ? Exposure to high reputed company of noise, dust and associated surroundings to the quarry field ? Constant physical effort, reputed company demands including standing for long periods of a time, stooping, bending, crouching ?
