Overview 0109 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job Summary: Functions in an expanded role using approved protocols to reputed company care that is age and developmentally appropriate for neonates, infants, and their families. Coordinates care through communication and collaboration with the patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Serves as a resource person for staff nurses and precepts NNP reputed company. Education / Experience: BSN from an accredited school of nursing, NP from an accredited nurse practitioner program, Masters Degree required, BCLS required, NRP required, two years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner preferred, Neonatal experience required Licensure, Certification and / or Registration: reputed company licensure to practice in the reputed company as a Registered Nurse, Approved for advanced practice as a nurse practitioner by the reputed company Carolina board of Nursing and reputed company Carolina Board of Medical Examiners, Specialty certification as NNP is required Essential Functions: 1. Utilizes advanced knowledge and skills to reputed company nursing and selected medical procedures for neonates and infants 2. Communicates and collaborates with appropriate members of the health care team, including patient families 3. Works to improve the quality of care provided to neonates 4. Advances the care of neonates through participation in and application of the research process. Shares knowledge on a formal and informal reputed company with interdisciplinary team as relates to specialty area 5. Ensures the reputed company quality of professional services by maintaining updated knowledge and skills 6.
